Charitable Trust

Description:                                                                                                                                                                

To promote charitable purposes for the benefit of Freetown (including the Peninsula Area).

 Object(s) of the Organisation:                                                                                                                                  

1. the relief of persons who are resident in Freetown who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress as a result of local national or international disaster natural or otherwise or by reason of their social and economic circumstances. 
   
2. the relief of persons who are residents of Freetown who are temporarily resident in Kingston upon Hull and who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress by reason of their social and economic circumstances.
3. the relief of patients and former patients of the hospitals of Freetown and other invalids in the community who are sick convalescent disabled handicapped infirm or in need of financial assistance and generally the support of the charitable work of the said hospitals.
4. the furtherance of the education (including social and physical training) of all person attending schools, universities and other educational establishments in Freetown.
5. the protection of the health of the people of Freetown by the promotion or support of schemes whereby such persons may received training and education in and assistance in implementing improved methods of hygiene sickness prevention water supply drainage sanitation pest control sewage and refuse collection and disposal and safer and healthier systems of work.
