Local Government and Police and Crime Commissioner Elections will be held on Thursday 6 May 2021. There are no scheduled local elections in Central and Pickering ward.

Police and Crime Commissioner Election

An election will be held on Thursday 6 May 2021 to elect a new Police and Crime Commissioner for the Humberside Police area.

The Humberside Police and Crime Commissioner is responsible for policing in the following local authority areas –

> East Riding of Yorkshire Council

> Hull City Council

> North Lincolnshire

> North East Lincolnshire

For each police force area, one council will act as the lead authority to undertake the nominations of candidates, coordinate the elections and is responsible for announcing the results following the count.

For Humberside, the lead authority is East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
