Publication Scheme

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, we have a duty to produce and operate a publication scheme. It commits us to make information available to the public as part of our normal business activities and sets out classes of information which we make publicly available.
Our scheme was developed in accordance with the guidelines published by the Information Commissioner. There are seven classes of information in our scheme and these are set out below.

• Who we are and what we do
• What we spend and how we spend it
• What our priorities are and how we are doing
• How we make decisions
• Our policies and procedures
• Lists and registers
• The services we offer
Most of the information in the publication scheme is available free of charge but there are some exceptions to this rule. If a charge applies it is likely to be stated in the publication scheme.
