To receive apologies for those Members who are unable to attend the meeting.

To remind Members of the need to record the existence and nature of any Personal and Discloseable Pecuniary interest in items on the agenda, in accordance with the Member Code of Conduct.

5 Public Questions
Written questions may be submitted by members of the public.  Unwritten questions will be taken only at the discretion of the Chair in accordance with paragraph 38.2 in part C1 of the Council’s Constitution. Questions will be answered at the meeting if possible, otherwise written replies will be sent. 
As the agenda is to be considered in accordance with the Council's formal committee procedures rather than a public forum, the public present will not be able to participate in the Committee's discussions on the following items. 

A MAXIMUM OF 15 MINUTES WILL BE ALLOWED FOR QUESTIONS.
 
Public Items

To update the Committee on community safety issues in the Riverside Area.

 

To provide an overview of issues relating to cost of living / debt issues, food poverty, fuel poverty and healthy cooking on a budget. In each of these areas the paper outlines the main issues people are facing, and  information that is specific to the Riverside area.  

 

To brief the Committee around HAF activities that took place over Easter  2022 and plans for the summer 22 programme.

 

To provide a further overview of activity undertaken in order to meet the needs of the communities in the Riverside Area.

 

To updated the Committee on the work undertaken by the Neighbourhood Nuisance (Anti-social Behaviour) Team in the Riverside area.

 

 

To provide a summary of the range of interventions underway to end rough sleeping in Hull in line with the government’s Rough Sleeping Strategy and the planned next steps.    

 

To update the Committee on the regeneration projects delivered by Housing Strategy and Renewal.

 

To update Members on the regeneration projects delivered by Major Projects and Infrastructure Team.

 

To update the Committee on the progress of schemes.

To update Members on waste and open spaces issues and activity in the Riverside Area. 

 

To consider the delegation of budgets allocated for 2022/23 within the HRA Housing Area Team remit.

 

To update the Committee on the balances within the three Housing Area budgets for the Riverside Area to allow the Committee to fulfil their responsibility of monitoring these budgets.

 

To update the Committee on the performance of the Riverside Area Housing Team and Housing Investment Team for the period up to and including 30th November 2021 as contained in Appendix A of the report.

 

To review the current delegated decision-making arrangements for Ward Budgets.

 

To update the Committee of the 2022-2023 budgets for the Riverside Area in relation to the Ward Budgets and Section 106 Monies.

 

To update the Committee on the work undertaken by the Riverside Area Team.
