1 Apologies
To receive apologies for those Members who are unable to attend the meeting.
2 Declarations of Interest
To remind Members of the need to record the existence and nature of any Personal and Discloseable Pecuniary interest in items on the agenda, in accordance with the Member Code of Conduct.

4 Public Questions
There will be a period of up to 15 minutes during which members of the Cabinet will answer questions put by members of the public on matters of policy or decisions normally made by the Cabinet. Any person or organisation wishing to put a question should contact Louise Hawkins, Democratic Services Officer at the Guildhall for guidance on the procedure.

As the agenda for the meeting is to be considered under the Council's formal committee procedure, rather than as a public forum, the public will not be able to participate in the Cabinet's discussions on the items on the agenda that follow below.

This report sets out the suite of reports to be considered by Council on 24 February 2022.

 

This report seeks approval on how the business rates relief will be distributed to make best and most efficient use of the money available for the benefit of businesses.

 

This report sets out the proposed implementation plans and indicative budget for the delivery of the Department for Education's 'Holiday Activities and Food' programme 2022 and seeks approval to enable the delivery of the programme.

 

This report seeks approval of refurbishment works of vacant building adjacent to the Priory Children’s Centre adjacent to Priory Primary School to enable its occupation by the Butterflies Nursery so as to ensure that the Local Authority continues to meet its Early Years Sufficiency statutory obligations in Derringham Ward, and to ensure that the existing Children’s Centre is able to continue with its formal designation which requires nursery provision.

 

This report sets out the proposal for the establishment of a Dynamic Purchasing System on the new platform to both meet the need for core provision and and prepare the Council for the grant opportunities that may arise.
