Public Items
To provide a response on the Committee’s view of the Quality Account to the NHS.
In formulating its response to the Draft Quality Account, Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee is invited to consider:
- Whether the priorities outlined in the Quality Account match those of the public.
- Whether the provider has omitted any major issues.
- Whether the provider has demonstrated they have involved patients and the public in the production of the Quality Account.
To consider a report to Committees in Common recommending changes to the implementation of the re-procurement of Home Care provision.
To consider a report to Committees in Common setting out the framework for the development of a system wide approach to the commissioning of services for children, and seeking approval for the Council’s strategy for the procurement of services relating to children.
To consider a report setting out the requirement for Hull City Council to comply with the Government Direction in improving both children’s social care and SEND services in Hull.
To inform and propose a potential way forward to enable the management of important Overview and Scrutiny business whilst there are continuing concerns relating to COVID-19.
To set out for Member awareness the scale of the potential financial impact of Covid-19 on the City.
To consider a report setting out the provisional outturn position for 2019/20 with regard to the Council’s General Fund Revenue Budget, Schools expenditure, Housing Revenue Account and the Capital Programme.
To carry out pre-decision scrutiny of a report to Cabinet seeking authorisation to commence a procurement exercise to identify a supplier to provide the Microsoft licencing requirements from the end of February 2021.
A briefing informing the Committee of decisions already taken but presented for post-decision scrutiny.
To support a member and officer discussion about modal shift in Hull and how the current levels of cycling and walking can be sustained post Covid-19.
To support consideration by this Committee of the new entries in the Forward Plan in determining whether there should be any Overview and Scrutiny involvement in the issue.
