Apologies
To receive apologies for those Members who are unable to attend the meeting.

To remind Members of the need to record the existence and nature of any Personal and Discloseable Pecuniary interest in items on the agenda, in accordance with the Member Code of Conduct.

Appointment of Chair
To appoint the Chair for the 2025/26 Municipal Year.

Quorum
To discuss the minimum number of Members of the West Central Area Committee that must be present at any of its meetings to make the proceedings of that meeting valid.

Public Questions
Written questions may be submitted by members of the public. Unwritten questions will be taken only at the discretion of the Chair in accordance with paragraph 38.2 in part C1 of the Council’s Constitution. Questions will be answered at the meeting if possible, otherwise written replies will be sent. As the agenda is to be considered in accordance with the Council's formal committee procedures rather than a public forum, the public present will not be able to participate in the Committee's discussions on the following items.
A MAXIMUM OF 15 MINUTES WILL BE ALLOWED FOR QUESTIONS.

To update the Area Committee on Policing and Public Protection activities in the West Central area.
To outline the Area Plan ambition, priorities, and actions, to which the appendices relate in order to facilitate discussion on how to progress to meet the strategic vision established within the Plan.
To provide the Area Committee with the proposed dates for the Municipal Year 2026-27.
To seek the Committee’s suggestions on a suitable venue/s for the 2026-27 informal meetings to take place.

To update Members on the outcome of the completion of public consultation on proposed updates to the Coltman Street Conservation Area and to recommend the adoption and publication of a new Character Appraisal & Management Plan.
To update Members on the outcome of the completion of public consultation on proposed updates to the St Andrew’s Dock Conservation Area and to recommend the adoption and publication of a new Character Appraisal.
To advise the Committee of available Section 106 & CIL (Community Infrastructure Levy) monies to be allocated to projects for the West Central Committee Area.

To update members of the West Central Area Committee on the refurbishment of Queen’s Gardens which is being delivered by Major Projects & Infrastructure.
To provide Members with an update on the progress of the Culture, Place and City Centre team in terms of the implementation of the Culture and Heritage Strategy along with the Music Plan.
To provide a regular process update on the Community Highstreets Investment Programme and the related Community Centres Investment Programme.
To update Members on the progress of outstanding actions.
To update Members on the Work Programme and provide further opportunity for Members to suggest future agenda items for discussion.
