Executive Director Children, Young People & Family Services Update
To update the Commission on current/key issues and for members to identify matters to be considered and raise questions and issues that may lead to further work being undertaken.
To inform Scrutiny of the proposed implementation plans and the budget for the delivery of the Department for Education’s (DfE) ‘Holiday Activities and Food (HAF)’ programme 2026-29, and to seek comments ahead of approval for the decisions necessary to enable delivery of the programme by the Cabinet.
To report to the Children, Young People, Families and Learning Overview and
Scrutiny Commission, outcomes and feedback from the most recent meetings
of the Young People Scrutiny Engagement Group.
To ensure any outstanding actions are being addressed in a timely manner.
To consider and agree the work programme.
