To provide an update and reassurance on the progress of the findings of the Section 17 audit completed November 2024, by Southwest Audit Partnership (SWAP), who supply internal audit services for Hull City Council.

To provide an update on progress of actions identified by the direct payments audit – completed and finalised by SWAP on the 14th of July 2025.

To update the Commission on current/key issues and for members to identify matters to be considered and raise questions and issues that may lead to further work being undertaken.

To report to the Children, Young People, Families and Learning Overview and Scrutiny Commission, outcomes and feedback from the most recent meetings of the Young People Scrutiny Engagement Group.

To ensure and outstanding actions are being addressed in a timely manner.

To update the Children, Young People, Families and Learning Overview and Scrutiny Commission on referrals received from other Committees.

To consider and agree the work programme.
