To receive apologies for those Members who are unable to attend the meeting.

To remind Members of the need to record the existence and nature of any Personal and Discloseable Pecuniary interest in items on the agenda, in accordance with the Member Code of Conduct.

To approve the minutes as a true and correct record. 

Written questions may be submitted by members of the public.  Unwritten questions will be taken only at the discretion of the Chair in accordance with paragraph 38.2 in part C1 of the Council’s Constitution. Questions will be answered at the meeting if possible, otherwise written replies will be sent.  As the agenda is to be considered in accordance with the Council's formal committee procedures rather than a public forum, the public present will not be able to participate in the Committee's discussions on the following items.

To provide the West Area Committee with the proposed amended date and time of the meeting on 11 May 2026.

To outline the Area Plan ambition, priorities, and actions, to which the appendices relate in order to facilitate discussion on how to progress to meet the strategic vision established within the Plan.

To seek decisions on available Section 106 monies to be allocated to projects in the West Area. 

To provide Members with a summary of activity delivered by the Culture, Place and City Centre (CPCC) service and investment into culture, arts, events and tourism activity.

To update Members on the progress of outstanding actions. 

To update Members on the Work Programme and provide further opportunity for Members to suggest future agenda items for discussion.
