Appendix 1

To seek to continue the process of rationalising and re-shaping the Council’s property portfolio, generate capital receipts, and contribute to the Council’s financial strategy and community plan ambitions.

To seek approval to direct award a contract(s) through the EN: Procure (Generation 4) Framework.

To update the Commission on any service, policy or strategy developments that fall within the remit of the Commission, with a view to the Commission including them in the future work programme if they consider it appropriate.

To update Members on the latest Medium Term Financial Plan (MTFP)  projections for the period 2025/26 to 2027/28 and outline a financial strategy which will inform the detailed formal budget proposals to be considered by  Council and Cabinet in February 2025.

To provide Members with an updated overview of progress against budget and planned activity for the 2024/25 capital programme and to seek authorisation for  the amendments to the programme.

To provide Members with an update on Treasury Management activity and  performance in the first half of the financial year 2024/25, as required by the  Council’s Treasury Management Policy Statement.

To support Committee members in their consideration of items on the agenda for the future municipal year.
